Modern Rustic Housewares.

I’m so loving these housewares over at Shoestring Home. There is something rustic about them, but they have such a modern look and feel too. Everything is so beautiful, elegant, well designed and well crafted! I must say that I can see those Petite Shell Mirrors in my *future* house. Kind of reminds me of these plates on the wall that I posted a few weeks ago. The husband and I are a huge beach lover and I’m thinking of incorporating a lot of shells and beach colors for our yet-to-be house.

Somehow those lovely things remind me that Fall season is almost here. In Texas, we’ll still be under the hot summer sun probably until the end of September.

Anyways, on another note, Shoestring Home is having a giveaway for a chance to win a cute Boogaloo from Blabla. Me wants!

I’m so smitten by these cushions by Oromono. Their design is so chic, simple, and feminine. Ruffles, fabric flowers… don’t you just love them? I can imagine these for a living room with contemporary style in a loft or even in a house. Oh so pretty!

Kitchen Gadgets by Stefano Giovannoni

Monday, August 17th, 2009 | 4 Comments

As I mentioned in the About page, when I’m not designing, I cook. I love, love, love, bold bright colors when it comes to kitchen gadgets. My dream kitchen’s color palette will have colors like chartreuse green, lemony yellow, and happy orange.

Continuing the previous whimsical theme of today, I am loving these whimsical playful kitchen gadgets of Stefano Giovannoni’s The Orientales collection! I can’t help but drooling over these and hope to adopt them all for my kitchen.

If I show this to my conventional husband, he would probably call this childish and silly. He rolled his eyes when I plead to him to let me registered for a TONS of Animal House kitchen tools from Target for our wedding registry (He did let me! :)). Those tools are so fun and I’m enjoying them a lot in my kitchen! Anyways… back to Stefano Giovannoni. Here are some more cuteness…

On another note, Kelly from Glamour This is hosting a giveaway from Allmodern.com which sells those cute kitchen tools. I really can’t pick which one I’m getting if I win this because Allmodern.com has so many drool-worthy modern household items and my husband & I desperately need want, but if I win, I would most probably get one of those Orientales collection! :)
